Bobby Carr: A Retrospective is the first major retrospective exhibition of the Alabama artist, Bobby Carr, and includes examples from all facets of his career. Tracing Carr's considerable artistic output, the exhibition features more than 150 of his paintings from the 1960’s to 2013.
A significant portion of the exhibition is devoted to his portraits and Alabama landscapes, the work that in its varied forms has consumed the artist throughout his career. Also included in the exhibition is a small selection of his work relating to the Gulf Shores area of Alabama and his time spent there.
